is the effective replacement of windows?
having a house with original windows (17 + years old, wooden frame, 35 "X46") windows are double glazed, but how the development and the skirt is in place – the windows (glass + wood frame) plastic guides between them and the sides of the outside of the window. There are plenty of airflow through the cracks. How effective would be to replace windows? On the first floor is a concrete slab so it a bad cold on the floor, I wonder how much of what is the form of concrete and how it is from cold air flows over the ground. TIA
