Kitchen Flooring – need help with type of floor to match kitchen?
We’re looking for flooring for our kitchen. I think tiles would look best but only problem is tiles are cold and can’t afford underfloor heating. We’d like a wood or wood effect floor but not sure what colour would look good with it or if it would look right. Does anyone have an ideas of what type of wooden floor or wood effect floor would match this kitchen or are tiles gonna look better? it appears you have pretty much decided something that looks like wood
and there are plenty of products on the market now that are not real wood but look like it
and your choice will be what you like
are you prone to dark floors, or you want the floor to be light to sort of give the appearance of being larger?
there are various shades of oak and with your cabinets, I would pretty much stay close to what you have on them
